  5. INTRODUCTION

  7. Rolodex/2 is an OS/2 2.x shareware program to store information about people,
  8. companies, etc.  I hope you enjoy it.

  11. CHANGES
  12.  
  13. Rolodex v1.0   You can store & retreive names, addresses, city, state, zip,
  14.                work & home phone, company, email, ftp, and bbs info.
  15. Rolodex v1.1   You can now send email(1), ftp(1), and print from this program.
  16.                (1) Note:  You need IBM TCP/IP to send email & ftp.
  17. Rolodex v1.2   Added a note field option.
  18. Rolodex v1.3   Print Options  - Toggle which fields to print.
  19.                                 Print combination of groups.
  20.                                 Toggle printing blank lines.
  21.                Group Options  - There are six user defined groups.
  22.                                 You can list and print combinations
  23.                                 of the groups.
  24.                File Options   - Save & Load multible files.

  26. Note: You can only store 10 names in the unregister version.

  31. Copy vrobj.dll to a directory in your libpath.  ex: c:\os2\dll
  32. Copy all other files into any directory you wish.  ex: c:\rolodex

  48. If you have IBM TCPIP for OS/2 you can send email and ftp from this program.
  49. I have only tested this with IBM TCPIP v1.2.1.

  52. DISTRIBUTION CONDITIONS
  53.  
  54. You are free to distribute this shareware version of Rolodex/2 as long as
  55. the following conditions are met:
  56.   1) The distributed archive must contain ONLY the files listed above.
  57.   2) The contents of this archive are NOT MODIFIED in any way.
  58.   3) This version is not to be sold.  However, a reasonable disk copying fee
  59.      is permitted.
  60.   4) This version is not to be bundled with a commercially sold package
  61.      without permission from the author.

  64. HOW TO REGISTER   
  65.  
  66. If you use Rolodex/2 for more than 15 days, you are expected to register
  67. Rolodex/2.  When you register, you will receive the latest version of
  68. Rolodex/2.  Plus information of other great products that I have created.
  69.  
  70. The registration fee is only $20 (US funds).
  71.  
  72. Updates and bug fixes are free but shipping charge may apply.
  73. Major new releases might require a small upgrade fee.  Users who register
  74. Rolodex/2 and provide an e-mail address will automatically receive
  75. updates via e-mail.
  76.  
  77. For e-mail registrations, you need to use a program called "uudecode" to
  78. decode the uuencoded file that I e-mail to you.  For your information,
  79. a uuencoded file is a binary file that is converted to text by a program
  80. called "uuencode".  If your mail system rejects large messages, I will
  81. split the uuencoded file into smaller parts before mailing the parts to
  82. you, and you will need to edit the messages with a text editor before
  83. you can decode them.

  93. Registration of Rolodex/2 is based on personal usage.  Corporate or
  94. organizational users must register all copies used on an individual
  95. basis. A specific person must be explicitly assigned to each
  96. registrant who will be provided with a personalized copy of Rolodex/2.
  97. Registration grants a specific person (not an organization or
  98. corporate entity) the right to use Rolodex/2.  Contact me if you wish
  99. to have a sight licenses, I will work out sight licenses on a case by
  100. case matter.

  105. If you find a bug in Rolodex/2, I would appreciate it if you would inform
  106. me so I can provide better service. When you send me a bug report, include
  107. a description of the procedure for reproducing the bug and a description
